congrats!!!! haha. i wanted to say: must be more mature, but i realised that my lab partner is already soooo mature and soooooooo dao!!!!!! hahaha. so now, i shall say: SMILE MORE!!!!!!!!
hahahaha. yay!! i rock! ok, so does my lab partner!!! haha. yays!
ok. now, my trip to australia! gosh. it was soooo fun okay. everyone should go to australia! haha.
but first, before i go on, i'd like to register my astonishment that the malls in australia close at 5 - 6!! it was so damn ridiculous!!! and everyday the activities all finish around 5.30, so practically i could not shop at all!!!! imagine my frustration!!!! i wanted to buy nice shoes, clothes and blah, and souvenirs for ppl!! in the end, only the yucky 'night market' was open, so all the souvenirs abit yucky leh....sorry la. haha. not my fault! it's the malls' fault!!! ((:
ok. first day: water rafting. gosh. me and my sis sat right in front of that boat...which was actually a float...haha. then we went down this waterfall which was 2 metres steep. as you can imagine, everyone screamed like hell. my aunts were so afraid that the boat would overturn!! haha. (i wouldn't mind though..) then went through alot of rapids and big rocks. it was SCARY.
near the end, me and my sis jumped into the water to swim, which was super clear and clean!! and until 5.45, me and my sis didn't want to get back into the boat, until the guy-in-charge looked worried and said "must faster come out, cos the crocodiles come out at 6, but some might be early." ok. i nearly had a heart attack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
me and my sis immediately swam back to the boat, but took super long to get back into the boat cos it was so high!!! so the guy just came over...his left hand held my life jacket, his right hand held my sis's, and he just pulled us both out together!!!!! TOGETHER! ohmygod. he is super strong!! haha. but yanying ah, he wasn't cute la!!
2nd day: we took this big cruise into the middle of the pacific ocean, the OUTER REEF OF THE GREAT BARRIER REEF!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE CORALS WERE SUPER BEAUTIFUL. me, my sis, my dad, my 2nd oldest aunt went scuba diving. but we only went about 10 metres deep! was so upset! i wanted to go 50m deep! sheesh! ok. but the fishes were beautiful...so colourful!! and there was this fish which was called 'wolly' and was bigger than me!!! gosh. if i could have screamed, i think everyone within 10000 km would have gone deaf! then i took a picture beside it! it was so damn tame, that it came up to me!!! and it swam beside my face, and rubbed itself against my face!! (took a picture!!!) haha. gosh..and it only did that to ME!!! woohooO! and another small rainbow fish nibbled me!!!! ohmy. i wonder how i tasted...haha
3rd day: took this big long train to this waterfall called barren falls! haha. nothing much though...but it was raining...and i managed to demonstrate my pro geog skills by explaining RELIEF / OROGAPHIC RAIN to everyone. now all my relatives think i'm some smart freak who knows everything. gosh.
then went on some rainforest tour, and aboriginal land. cool.
4th day: horse riding!!! GOD, I LOVE HORSES. but this is me and my sis's second time, so we sort of knew how to control the horse abit. was super fun!!! hahaha. my aunts kept screaming, and my youngest cousin was crying!!! hahahhahahaha.
in the afternoon, drove up to palm cove, and went to this rainforest sanctuary.
at night drove up to port doughlas. ( i dun think any one of you know these places, so nvrmind!!!)
5th day: went to an island called 'green island', which was the INNER REEF OF THE GREAT BARRIER REEF! saw more corals and fish!! god. fishes are cute!!!!! this took up the whole day!!
everyone got burnt, cos my sis forgot to bring her suntan lotion!!!! gosh. but anyway, i got a nice wonderful tan!! anabella, are you jealous??? (((:
6th day: ............
ok. wait. i think i missed out on one day! aiyah!!! who cares la!!! THE MAIN STUFF ARE ALL WRITTEN ABOVE ALREADY!!! HAHAHAHA.
anyways, i can now disagree with gohweiting's statement above 'all korean ppl are either pretty or cute'. cos there was this korean group there, and alot of the teenage girls were fat, and the guys were super ugly. if you ask me, australians were much more better... anyway, on the cruise and the beaches, so many slim ppl in bikinis!!! i felt so fat cann!!!!! urgh!!!!
must diet some more!!! hahaha. ooh, but the ang moh guys were very very cute. but no, yanying, i did not even talk to anyone of them okay! ok, maybe except for 'hi' and 'how are you doing'....cos they all asked first...all the ang moh ppl are super friendly! even if we've never seen each other, they'll still say HI! gosh. so friendly. got a culture shock can.
ok. for the first 4 nights, me and my sis had our own room in the first hotel. ohmy. it was sooooo fun!!!!! there was a single bed, and a queen-size bed. I GOT THE QUEEN SIZE BED, of course. haha. then at night stayed up late....drank earl gray tea or coffee. flooded the bath tub...killed a small flying insect with almost half a toilet roll...gosh... damn fun.
anyways, me and my sis did not bring a whole bag of just shamp0o and makeup, thus my aunts were all WRONG! hahaha. sheesh. but the last few days, in the second hotel, me and my sis shared a hotel room with one of our aunts, who was single. she kept complaining about this and that!!!! and she couldn't stand us picking out shirts after shirts, trying to decide what to wear for dinner. gosh. what is it with her??? then there were 2 queen size beds inside that room...so my aunt got one bed..me and my sis had to SHARE ONE. how pathetic. utterly unbelievable. so at night, we 2 were so squashed. sheesh. please. luckily i no longer have my old habit of pushing everything off my bed when i sleep. HAHA.
that's about it....wow. such a long post.
ohohoh!!!! since we were under the sun for so many hours a day, i didn't drink enough water, as usual, my lips, instead of peeling, became super red!!!!!! it was really really red. my aunts thought i bought like chanel lipstick or something...haha. ok. at least i could save on lipstick then. haha.
then on one night, we were walking along the streets..when we came past this 'full body wax' shop!! me and my sis wanted to go for it, until my dad said we shouldn't, cos we have to take off all our clothes, and that everyone will see how fat i am...and then he added that my sis was fat as well. ok. i was sooo irritated!!!! sheesh!!!!
and my aunts got so pissed at my dad, and they went "if yuling and yuting is fat, then i think i'm beyond words," haha. it was great to see my dad being scolded by his elder sisters!!!! I SHALL DO THAT TO MY BROTHER NEXT TIME.
i bought a new handbag again! haha. yays!! but since i refused to pay for it, i have to share it with my sis and mom. -.-
ok. took alot of pictures!!! alot alot!!! 544 pics to be exact! haha. but many were people-less..and of waterfalls, or fishes, sharks, corals, blah....but still. haha. i haven't exactly figured out how to post them yet. hahaha. (but the way yanying describe like very simple...) HAHAHAHAHA. ok. but i will post some laaa..((:
